About the campaign

For 128 years, Meredith has made a profound impact on the lives of our students.

In turn our more than 22,000 graduates have gone on to use their intelligence and strength in their careers, families, and communities to make the world a better place.

But sustaining excellence has never been more complicated. Higher education is competitive – and costly. That means attracting and retaining top faculty and staff, maintaining a beautiful campus that fosters student learning, and paying for college will continue to challenge even the very best colleges and families.

The Way Forward

Our new brand, Meredith College | Going Strong, has captured the history and spirit of Meredith. And our strategic plan, Meredith Forever, has given us the blueprint for making the College even stronger.

Now, through Beyond Strong: The Campaign for Meredith, we must raise the funds to make that plan a reality.

We’re confident that we’ll succeed, thanks to the support of friends like you. People who believe in the transformative power of a strong education. Who know that investing in Meredith is an investment in their own communities. Who believe that a strong education is the best way to ensure we have the effective, ethical leaders we need to meet the inevitable challenges of the future.

How You Can Help

There are any number of ways you can support Meredith. Make a gift that addresses the most pressing needs of the College. Select another, more specific, way to make an immediate impact on the College. Or make a long-term, endowed gift. If you’re not sure how you want to help, contact us. We’re happy to meet with you to discuss which option makes the most sense for you and your family.

Join us. Your gift will help to ensure that Meredith College continues Going Strong.

Beyond Strong Priorities

Like the strategic plan, these six priorities were developed in collaboration with those who know – and love – Meredith best. Each is essential to making the College even stronger in order to meet the needs of our students, our campus, and the larger community.

  1. Educational Excellence – enhancing high-caliber academic and development experiences
  2. Enrollment – supporting scholarships, both recruiting and completion scholarships, that provide assistance with tuition and fees for new and returning students
  3. Financial Strength – building the endowment funds that will sustain Meredith in perpetuity
  4. Facilities & Technology – preserving and enhancing the quality of our buildings and technology
  5. Marketing and Visibility – expanding our reach into new markets
  6. Quality of Life – looking after the health and well-being of our community, both the Meredith community itself and the larger world beyond the College
