Legacy Scholar and Honors student Ally Cefalu, ’22, double majored in biology and psychology, became a Student Assistant, conducted lab research, and formed a strong bond with the Meredith community. After graduating from Meredith, she took her passion for biology and mental health to work as an Analyst I at BioAgilytix.
Psychology major Sophie Lee, ’22, came to Meredith ready to take on new challenges. Identifying her strengths helped her decide on a career path, which includes pursuing a master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational psychology at Meredith.
An Honors Scholar with majors in psychology and mathematics, Paige Lawrence, ’21, has learned the importance of community while at Meredith— a realization that inspired her to work with retirement homes to study fall prevention. After graduation, she will continue her studies at East Carolina University in the Master of Occupational Therapy program.
Jasmine Lewis, ’21, a double major in family and consumer science and psychology, has learned how to be more authentic to herself since transferring to Meredith.
Internships, leadership opportunities, and the Meredith Autism Program have prepared Laura Jenkins, ’20, to take on an occupational therapy program after graduation.
Allie Kvasnicka, ʼ20, was able to accomplish her goals of majoring in biology and psychology, completing an internship, and conducting research because of faculty support and encouragement.
Madison Gladwell, ’20, embodies what it means to be a student-athlete. A double major in psychology and political science with a concentration in pre-law, she plans to attend law school after graduation.
At Meredith, psychology and social work major Sandra Taranhike, ’19, built on her strengths and prepared for a post-grad role as a research assistant for a national non-profit.
As a transfer student Leslie Arreaza, ’19, struggled to find her place at Meredith, but it was through her passion for helping immigrants and refugees that she found her voice and her place at Meredith.
Caroline Garrett, ’19, aims to change the world through advocacy. With a passion for helping others, she is pursuing degrees in social work and psychology with a minor in sociology.
