As a biology and psychology major, Alyshena Case, ’24, adopted a growth mindset which improved her confidence and prepared her for the future. Through her research experiences at Meredith, she has learned to believe in herself when faced with a challenge.
Legacy Scholar and Honors student Ally Cefalu, ’22, double majored in biology and psychology, became a Student Assistant, conducted lab research, and formed a strong bond with the Meredith community. After graduating from Meredith, she took her passion for biology and mental health to work as an Analyst I at BioAgilytix.
At Meredith, Joselyn Marroquin Aparicio, ’22, discovered a passion for studying the reproductive system and maternity health. She hopes to encourage other Latina women to pursue their dreams and earn a college degree.
After Spanish and biology major Cinthia Arreola, ‘21, took a course in Spanish translation during her junior year, she found new ways to support her community.
Samantha Duerring, ’20, conducted undergraduate research on the perceptions of GMOs on Meredith’s campus.
English major Hannah Flood, ’20, built strong connections at Meredith through an internship, studying abroad, and campus traditions.
Parimala (Pari) Prahalad, ’20, a biology major, was well prepared for her next phase of education in the School of Dental Medicine at East Carolina University.
Allie Kvasnicka, ʼ20, was able to accomplish her goals of majoring in biology and psychology, completing an internship, and conducting research because of faculty support and encouragement.
At Meredith, Rana Oueijan, ’19, pursued a focused academic path and enjoyed a variety of powerful hands-on learning experiences. Next up: the four-year Doctor of Pharmacy program at Campbell University.
For Sana Haseeb, ’19, helping others has always been an important part of her life. When she arrived at Meredith, she sought out ways to lend a helping hand around campus and in the local community.
