The North Carolina Independent Colleges and Universities (NCICU) held their annual development conference at Meredith College on Tuesday, January 7. A total of 115 fundraisers from 27 institutions attended to listen to a variety of interactive sessions and network with colleagues.
The College is grateful to alumnae, friends, faculty, and staff for their continued support of Meredith College in the first half of the fiscal year. Gifts and various efforts by volunteers show their support for Meredith students and the entire campus community.
The Office of Alumnae Relations and Institutional Advancement held Welcome Events in the fall of 2024 to introduce President Sapp to alumnae and friends of the College.
Meredith College’s first alumna President Jo Allen, ʼ80, has strengthened the institution during her tenure. Over the past 13 years, she has overseen strategic and academic advancements with increased fundraising and donor-funded projects to enhance the College’s facilities. With eleven NCAA Division III sports the Avenging Angels are champions inside the classroom and on the field or court. Meredith Athletics continues to go strong because of our competitive student-athletes, coaches, supporters, and donors who believe women’s sports play a major role in overall personal growth and the college experience.
The Alumnae Association encourages members of the Meredith community to join Meredith Mentors, an online platform that connects the Meredith community for mentoring and networking opportunities.
