If you play sports in high school, you may be thinking about how to continue your love of the game into your college career. When considering a Division III school, one thing to keep in mind is that this environment allows players to fully experience both academic and athletic pursuits.
Division III schools like Meredith provide a balance of academic and athletic opportunities, so students can excel in both areas.
Take it from Kim Scavone, Meredith’s head softball coach, who says “Our athletes receive an incredible education, participate in our many wonderful traditions, study abroad, complete internships in their chosen field of study, and participate in other activities on campus and in the local community. They are able to achieve great success in the classroom, while competing for championships in a very challenging conference.”
