After transferring to Meredith, Business major Trina Zazarine, ’25, gained academic knowledge to supplement the practical experience she already had as an entrepreneur and U.S. Air Force veteran.

Lauryn “LT” Turner, ’25, came to Meredith ready to make her mark. As a lacrosse player, student leader, and broadcaster for a weekly sports show, she’s having a meaningful impact on campus while preparing for her future communications career.

Transfer student MacKenzie Kotch, ’25, studied chemistry at Meredith, learning more about the field and gaining skills that she plans to use in a forensics lab. While at Meredith, participating in theatre productions helped her find friendships and learn how to advocate for herself.

Meredith College held commencement ceremonies for the Class of 2025 on Saturday, May 10. The undergraduate ceremony was held at 10 a.m. in the courtyard of Johnson Hall, and the graduate ceremony followed at 2 p.m. in Jones Auditorium.

Meredith College mourns the loss of faculty member Darren Masier, who passed away on April 28, 2025.

Meredith College’s Sport Science Association won a national award from the American Kinesiology Association in recognition of their community engagement and service to the College.

Meredith College alumna Macy Brinson, ’19, has been named the 2025 Wake County Public School System Teacher of the Year. She is a physical education teacher at Kingswood Magnet Elementary in Cary.

Meredith alumna Adrian Harrold Wood, ’96, returned to campus on May 1 for an author chat hosted by the Alumnae Association. She and one of her co-authors shared their new book Autism Out Loud.

Meredith College fashion design student Serena Danieli, ’25, recently won first place in the “Intermediate and Beyond” category at the 27th annual AATS Fashion Exposé.

Through a semester-long internship with Meredith’s Marketing Department, Grace Landenberg, ’27, has gained translation experience directly related to her career goal.
