Meredith College is working to cultivate an inclusive and pluralistic campus environment where diverse identities are welcomed into our living, learning, and working community. The anti-racism initiative reflects our commitment to strength, integrity, and the power of education to bring about real and lasting change across Meredith’s campus.
At Meredith College, Sonia Chrostowski was able to learn in a supportive classroom environment where her perspective was valued. As a Business major and Broyhill Fellow, she also gained marketing skills and professional connections that have set her on a path to success.
Fulbright recipient Briana Petrusa, ‘21, is combining her interests in chemistry and Spanish to pursue a career in medicine helping underserved populations.
Class president and environmental sustainability major Casey Corpening, ’22, is a Meredith College and NC Teaching Fellow. After graduation, Casey is applying her strengths to the classroom as a middle school teacher in the Wake County Public School System.
Business administration major and honors student Tasia Bromell, ’21, studied abroad and held leadership roles both on campus and during her HR internship. She continued her education at Meredith as an accelerated MBA student.

Meredith’s Post-Baccalaureate Digital Media Certificate program recently added a team of professionals to serve as an Advisory Board for digital media students. The Board will provide students with critiques on reels, give resume advice, and answer other general questions.
Jo Allen, president of Meredith College, has been invited to serve a one-year appointment as the senior advisor and President in Residence at the Council on Independent Colleges (CIC).
Amy Schroeder, ’24 (MBA), and her two children, Jack, ’26 (MBA), and Jenna, ’24, ’25 (MBA), are all pursuing a Master in Business Administration from Meredith College.
Meredith College welcomed more than 350 students to “share, learn, and celebrate dance” as part of High School Day of Dance. This event, held on campus on November 3, was sponsored by the Meredith College Dance Program.
The industrial-organizational (I-O) psychology master’s program is celebrating five years at Meredith College.
The Avenging Angels volleyball team are the 2023 USA South Tournament Champions after taking down Greensboro College 3-2 (29-31, 16-25, 25-12, 25-19, 15-12) on November 11.
The most recent Meredith Poll, in the field November 1-5, 2023, asked North Carolina voters about their preferences in the upcoming primary, their perceptions of political parties including “No Labels,” and their level of civic knowledge.
