Professor Emeritus Roger Crook was the featured speaker during Meredith College’s 125th Anniversary Founders’ Week Convocation. Crook presented “The Influence of Thomas Meredith,” about the College’s namesake. The convocation was held on February 24, 2016, as part of a weeklong commemoration.

A Throwback Thursday party featuring a lip sync competition among classes was held on February 25, 2016, as part of a weeklong celebration of Meredith College’s 125th anniversary. The Class of 2016 presented music from the 1960s, the Class of 2017 represented the 1970s, the Class of 2019 performed songs from the 1980s, and the Class of 2018 presented music from the 1990s. The event also included a surprise flashmob by faculty and staff.
