Prerequisites

For students to be accepted to the Dietetic Internship Program, they must have completed the DPD requirements.

Concentration

The Meredith College Dietetic Internship Program has chosen a concentration in Leadership in the field of nutrition and/or in the community. The need for leadership in healthcare has been recognized for years. Leadership behaviors and actions are important for interns to learn. The effectiveness of leadership behaviors and actions will be essential to our graduates’ career paths.

Program Completion Requirements

To successfully complete the Meredith College Dietetic Internship Pathway and receive a signed program completion Verification Statement, interns must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Pass all rotations and complete all competencies/learning outcomes for Dietetic Internships
  • Complete all assignments, modules and worksheets
  • Work all assigned hours
  • Turn in all evaluation forms
  • Turn in all End of Rotation ePortfolios
  • Attend all field trips
  • Complete a 4-week enrichment rotation
  • Maintain a “B” average in the Graduate Classes
