Meredith College Set to Welcome New Students for 2023-24 Academic Year

Meredith College will hold Move-In Day for incoming students on Saturday, August 19, 2023. 

To alleviate wait times for resident students, a staggered arrival schedule has been created for Move-In Day. Students are asked to adhere to their assigned move-in window of time between 8 a.m. and noon as best as possible.

Some students will arrive early for pre-orientation programs. International Students, those enrolled in the Summer Bridge Program, and Fall Season Athletes will move in on Wednesday, August 16.

Orientation begins on Saturday, August 19 at the conclusion of Move-In. For full details on Move-In Day and Orientation, visit meredith.edu/new-student-orientation. 

Classes begin on Wednesday, August 23. 

About the Incoming Class

Meredith College’s incoming class includes approximately 420 new undergraduate students, including 340 new first-year students. The College will also welcome 81 transfer, second degree, or readmitted students. Members of this class come from North Carolina and 18 other states and the countries of Guatemala, Kenya, Nigeria, Pakistan, and Trinidad & Tobago. In addition, Meredith expects to enroll more than 110 new graduate and post-baccalaureate program students.
