The Honor System at Meredith College is a longstanding tradition and it develops and affirms in each student a sense of personal honor and responsibility. The Honor System is governed by the student body and students pledge to uphold the principles of the Honor Code. New students pledge their commitment to the Honor Code and the Honor System during an Honor Code Ceremony, a special event held during new student orientation.
