The Avenging Angels volleyball team are the 2023 USA South Tournament Champions after taking down Greensboro College 3-2 (29-31, 16-25, 25-12, 25-19, 15-12) on November 11.
The most recent Meredith Poll, in the field November 1-5, 2023, asked North Carolina voters about their preferences in the upcoming primary, their perceptions of political parties including “No Labels,” and their level of civic knowledge.
The Fall 2023 Senior Art Exhibition, Memoirs: Unveiling Identity, will be featured in the Frankie G. Weems Gallery at Meredith College. Four emerging artists will showcase their artistic growth and development during their undergraduate program. Camille Duncan, Hannah Cox, Kelly Johnson, and Morgan Thompson are studio art, graphic design, and art education majors who are proud to share their milestones through their extensive and diverse portfolios.
Over the weekend of November 3-5, a group of Italian language students at Meredith embarked on a field trip to Charleston S.C., with their instructor, Adjunct Professor Sandra Pesoli to attend the 17th NCIFF – Nuovo Cinema Italiano Film Festival. This field trip to the festival, which Pesoli organizes every year, offers numerous benefits for the students who go, both academically and personally.
Meredith College held its 2023 Honoring Women Veterans event on Wednesday, Nov. 8, in Jones Chapel. The annual event honors all veterans, with special emphasis on the contributions of women veterans. It is presented by the Meredith College Honoring Women Veterans Committee.
The newest ornament in Meredith College’s pewter ornament collection is now available! The 2023 ornament celebrates the 100th year of Alice in Wonderland at Meredith College.
Meredith College hosted the North Carolina Association on Higher Education and Disability’s (NC AHEAD) annual conference, Equity & Excellence: Access in Higher Education.
