Considering Meredith? Check Out Our Virtual Admissions Resources!

There is nothing more important than campus visits when it comes to your college search.

That’s why social distancing has been tough for us at Meredith, too.

Whether you’re just starting your college search, in the middle of the application process, or if you’ve already been admitted – we know the global pandemic of COVID-19 has interrupted your search in some way. We also know you may be feeling disappointed about your senior year and concerned about your future, which is why we’re committed to providing you with the resources you need to make an informed decision about your next step. Here are several resources you can take advantage of from home:

  1. Virtual admissions information sessions

Since admissions counselors aren’t able to meet with prospective students in person right now, they are holding virtual information sessions via Zoom. These personal, one-on-one interviews are a good way to get individualized attention from your admissions counselor so they can answer all of your questions and help you determine next steps. For more information, visit our virtual admissions webpage.

  1. Virtual campus tour

Our 3D virtual tour offers a simple, detailed way to help you explore Meredith’s beautiful campus online. It highlights the many different features of campus, including academic buildings, the fitness center, student center, dining hall, StrengthsLab, and more! Find the tour here.

  1. Virtual residence hall tour

Our newest virtual feature gives you a 3D visualization of what it’s really like to live on campus at Meredith. Take the virtual residence life tour and get an inside, detailed look at our residence halls and the many different amenities they offer. Explore the residence life tour here.

  1. Virtual faculty office hours

If there is a certain program you are interested in majoring in or that you’d like to learn more about, connect with your admissions counselor to see if you can set up a virtual one-on-one appointment with a faculty member from that department. Many have offered to host these sessions online while campus is closed. To schedule an appointment with a professor, chat with your admissions counselor or email admissions@meredith.edu.

  1. Strong Stories

Reading and watching success stories about students can help you start to envision yourself at a school and determine if it might be a good fit. At Meredith, we use Strong Stories to not only celebrate our students, but to help you get a better sense of what it’s like to be a student here, and the outcomes that could come after. Check out our Strong Stories blog here.

  1. The Admissions Blog

Our admissions blog is specifically geared towards prospective students and their families to provide a wealth of knowledge about Meredith and the college search process in general. It covers topics on financial assistance, scholarships, picking a major, and more. Browse the wide array of topics we’ve written about here or check out some relevant topics on the college search listed below!
