Meredith College’s 22nd annual Celebrating Student Achievement (CSA) Day was held on Thursday, April 18, 2024. This Meredith tradition offered a full day showcasing student work, from the 8:30 a.m. poster session in the Carlyle Campbell Library to departmental events in the evening.
Meredith College held its annual awards and recognition celebration for employees on April 15, 2024. Faculty and Staff recognition awards were presented, and employees who reached milestone years of employment during the 2023-24 academic year were recognized for their service.
The Meredith College Board of Trustees approved faculty members for promotion and tenure at its Spring 2024 meeting.
Meredith College has changed the class ring supplier from Jostens to Balfour & Co.
The most recent Meredith Poll, in the field April 11-17, 2024, featured questions about North Carolina voters’ general election preferences, concerns about barriers to voting, knowledge of voting rights for college students and people convicted of felonies, and views on the state’s new sports gambling law.
Meredith College’s 41st Annual Juried Student Art Exhibition runs through September 12 in Johnson Hall Rotunda Gallery. An opening reception and awards ceremony will be held on Thursday, April 25 from 5-7 p.m.
On March 1, Carswell Hall came alive with vibrant colors, exciting performances, and a boisterous crowd for Meredith International Association’s (MIA) Cultural Show. This annual event, organized by MIA with the support of the Office of International Programs, serves as a meaningful platform for students to celebrate and highlight the diversity of cultures represented within the Meredith community.
Results from the 2024 Student Satisfaction Survey show that overall Meredith’s student satisfaction levels have stayed positive. In the first week of February, 1208 undergraduate students were invited to participate in the survey, and 505 students completed the questionnaire.
