Theatre Scholarships

Classification: First Year, Theatre Major
The Award:

The Siska Scholarship is a four year endowment for incoming first-year students who plan on making theatre their major and career. Audition and interview are required for application, and interested high school seniors should contact Lormarev Jones for more information.

The audition will consist of some devising group work and an interview with the Theatre faculty. Applicants have the option to prepare a monologue, a song, and/or bring a portfolio of their design work; students should choose whichever elements show their strongest artistic voice. Please come prepared to talk about your experience in the performing arts.

How to apply:

Apply online*. The scholarship deadline is January 31.

*Log in using the Admissions Applicant Portal Temporary PIN or password you established after you submitted your application for admission to the College.

Selection Criteria:

To be considered for theatre scholarships students must be admitted to the college by January 31. Finalists for the Siska scholarship will be invited to campus for Scholars’ Day in late February to interview with and audition for the faculty selection committee. Scholarship recipients will be notified by mid-March.
