A Meredith student progressing through all three levels of the Meredith Autism Program (MAP) courses (PSY 342, PSY 343, and PSY 442) may be eligible to earn the credential of Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)™. 

To be eligible to apply for the RBT credential, the student must complete the three-course MAP sequence as well as PSY 324: Behavior Modification and an approved course in statistics. They must also pass a competency assessment before applying for her credential with the board. In addition, the student will have to pass a national exam to secure this credential

The RBT is a national paraprofessional credential demonstrating that the holder is qualified to implement behavior-analytic services.
