Meredith College has articulation agreements with the following schools:  

West Virginia University (WVU) School of Medicine (MD) 

Established in March 2023, the WVU Pre-Medical Track at Meredith College is an early assurance  program for undergraduate and post-baccalaureate students. Students accepted into the Pre-Medical  Track will receive counseling through the office of admissions. Those students who complete the  requirements of the Pre-Medical Track will be guaranteed an interview with the WVU School of  Medicine. This program does not guarantee acceptance. 

There is no limit on number of Meredith students who can participate.  

Application Requirements for Undergraduate Students: 

• 3.5 cumulative GPA 
• Completed at least one full year at Meredith College 
• Enrolled at Meredith College

Application Requirements for Post-Baccalaureate Students: 

• 3.6 cumulative GPA after the first semester of the post-bac program 
• Enrolled at Meredith College

To apply:

• Undergraduate students will submit an unofficial transcript 
• Post-bac students will submit an unofficial transcript at the end of the first semester • Further instructions will be outlined in the application and confirmation email

Automatic Interview – up to 5 students per cohort.  

Requirements include:  

• 3.5 GPA for last 120 credit hours 
• 40 hours of shadowing 
• 40 hours of volunteering 
• Competitive MCAT score (Average MCAT 502)

Methodist College Physician Assistant Program (PA)
Automatic Interview – up to 2 students per cohort.  

Requirements include:  

• 3.0 GPA (3.2 GPA preferred), with no grade below “C” for courses listed in prerequisite  coursework 
• GRE scores (297 recommended score)  
• 500 clinical hours  
• Verified CASPA application on or before April 1
