The Class of 2023 Holds Spirit Week for Its Senior Class Gift Project

This year the Class of 2023 has chosen to assist Disability Services through the Senior Class Gift project. The project will be funding ADA entrance and exit signs for the remaining campus building that do not yet have them. This is a very exciting project and one that the Class of 2023 is truly passionate about!

As a component of their Senior Class Gift initiative, the class held Senior Spirit Giving Week from April 3 – 6, 2023. These activities are to build class unity, honor faculty/staff who helped them “gain their wings,” and overall to celebrate their time at Meredith. We also had a table setup inside of Cate Center for seniors to make their gift, participate in daily games, and have the opportunity to enter raffles. The themes of Spirit Week are listed out below.

Monday, April 3  – Motivational Monday! There were stress balls and tips sheets for life after graduation such as resume building, interviewing, networking, and creating a LinkedIn profile.

Tuesday, April 4Twin Tuesday! All seniors were encouraged to wear matching outfits with their little!

Wednesday, April 5 Wings Wednesday! All seniors were encouraged to wear wings! On this day seniors were able to honor a faculty or staff member who helped them “gain their wings” during their time at Meredith.

Thursday, April 6Throwback Thursday! All seniors were encouraged to wear their best outfits from past decades.

You Can Honor a Graduating Senior
When you contribute to the Senior Class Gift project, you can honor a graduating senior, and the senior will receive a special recognition letter. The Senior Class raises money each year to support a particular Senior Class Gift project. Participation is a significant component of this campaign and reflects how collective giving can have a sizable impact on the College. Your gift will support the project and help make the campus a little more accessible for all current and future students here at Meredith!

Make your gift today at the Senior Class Gift participation page. This year, the Class of 2023 is eager to achieve its goal. Gifts of all sizes are greatly appreciated.

Please stay tuned to hear how this ambitious class plans to support the College they affectionately call home! Thank you for all you do for Meredith College.
