Ten Meredith alumnae were among those recently named the 20 “best interior designers” in Raleigh by Expertise.com.
The alumnae named were Carol Hollowell, ’92 (Carol Hollowell Interiors); Anne DeCocco, ’04 (DeCocco Design, LLC); MA Allen, ’10, Margaret Matteson, ’11, and Seely Stephenson, ’16 (MA Allen Interiors); Martha Brown, ’09, and Julia Ross, ’13 (Southern Studio Interior Design, LLC); Angela Pence Crittendon, ’95, and Elizabeth Conlon O’Neal, ’08 (Teal Interior Design, LLC); and Sandra Moncada-Mainz, ’13 (Couture Haus Interior Design).
Expertise is a website and directory that focuses on identifying local service professionals for consumers. For this ranking, they scored 102 interior designers on more than 25 variables across five categories, and analyzed the results to determine the list of top interior designers in Raleigh, N.C. Criteria for selection of the designers included reputation, credibility, experience, availability, and professionalism.
Meredith is the only school in the Triangle area to hold Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA) accreditation.
