Study Abroad Fair Helps Students Explore International Education Opportunities

This event is designed to help students to get “first step” questions answered regarding study abroad. Applications for study abroad are open now at http://meredith.edu/OIP. 

Here are some opportunities to learn more:

• OIP offers weekly Study Abroad 101 Workshops, regular Funding Workshops, and one-on-one advising for students to learn more about the study abroad process and the financial support available. Students can sign up for workshops and advising at meredith.edu/OIP.
• The Italian Life & Culture summer program will have an information session on Monday, October 3 at 10 a.m. in Ledford 101.
• The Fall Semester in Italy will have an info session on Wednesday, October 12 at 10 a.m. in Ledford 101.

Many other programs will announce info sessions throughout October.

OIP is offering a new “early decision” deadline in December for Meredith Abroad summer and Meredith in Italy program applications and scholarships. Students who apply for “early decision” will know about program admission and scholarships by the end of January. 

Application Deadlines include

November 1:
Spring Break: Math, Art, & Italy (new program)
Education in Italy

December 5:
Early Decision for Meredith Abroad Summer & Meredith in Italy Fall
