Spring is just around the corner! Our admission counselors have had a busy fall meeting virtually with students and high school counselors, reviewing applications for admission, and giving their time to virtual admissions events. We recently held a very successful Scholars’ Day in February when high school seniors who were chosen to interview for various talent scholarships were able to interview virtually with faculty and members of the scholarship committees.
The Admissions Office is looking forward to our multi-day virtual event for admitted high school seniors and their families on March 27, 29, 30, and 31. Registration for this event can be found online. Our office will also be hosting a virtual open house for high school juniors on Saturday, April 17, so be sure to check back on the Admissions website for the registration link soon!
Our Spring ARMS Outreach Week took place during the week of February 22. Alumnae emailed admitted students in various regions of N.C. encouraging these students to register for our admitted student event. Thank you to those alumnae who volunteered their time to be a part of this outreach week!
Ways for Prospective Students to Visit Meredith
Experiencing Meredith firsthand is the best way for a prospective student to get a real sense of what it’s like to live and learn at Meredith. There are several ways to visit Meredith this spring: on-site campus visits; personalized, one-on-one virtual information sessions; and open houses. Read a recent post on our Admissions Blog to learn more.
Alumnae Recruitment – Refer a Student to Meredith!
Remember, if you know a student who would be a great fit for Meredith, don’t forget to refer her via the online referral form. When the student applies to Meredith during her senior year, her $40 application fee will be waived. You can also find our “Friends of Meredith College Application Fee Voucher” online. Either one of these referrals will waive a student’s application fee when she applies.
Please don’t hesitate to contact the admissions team at email@example.com with your questions or suggestions. Happy Spring to all!
