The College’s community garden, known as the Three Sisters Garden, has been the site of a variety of student events this academic year.
In November, the garden once again hosted a Cornhuskin’ Service project. Participants spread an entire outer circle of mulch to help prepare the soil for next year’s plantings.
Associate Professor of Communication Carla Ross used the space for an end of the year ceremony for her Forgiveness class.
Over the course of the entire fall semester, FYE classes met at the Three Sisters Community Garden to find out more about it, participate in service projects, and learn about its significance on our campus. An end of the semester bonfire culminated the experience in December.
The Three Sisters Garden, located behind Weatherspoon Gym, is open to all members of the Meredith community.
