Meredith Magazine Expands Online Presence

In the Spring 2021 issue of Meredith Magazine,  the College announced that an enhanced digital publication would be available to readers beginning in summer 2021. While the magazine has previously been available online, this revamped version offers a more immersive experience, with interactive multimedia content and more videos in an eminently shareable format.

With greater accessibility than the printed version, the expanded digital magazine has the ability to reach a wider audience and provides the Meredith community with additional opportunities to engage with the College.

“I am excited about the digital issues of the Meredith Magazine because I know how much our readers love sharing stories with friends and family,” said President Jo Allen. “The extraordinary professionalism that goes into this work deserves to be shared, and we are pleased so many of our alumnae and friends want to know what is happening at Meredith.”

Not only can readers now enjoy the magazine in a more exciting format from their desktop, tablet, or mobile device, they also have the ability to share the magazine with friends, family, and colleagues with the simple click of a button.

Subscribers will continue to receive printed issues of the Magazine every spring and fall, but the summer issue will only be available online.

The editorial team of the Magazine has already seen great benefits from shifting to an online version for the summer issue.

“The new digital format has really enhanced the editorial team’s ability to share the many exciting things happening at Meredith,” said Kristi Eaves-McLennan, Vice President of Marketing and Communications and Meredith Magazine Executive Editor. “The printed page and our original digital magazine design have served readers well for a long time, and by being able to expand beyond their limitations, we are now able to bring the stories our readers are interested in to life in new ways.”

With creative videos and other exciting multimedia projects already in the works, readers have a lot to look forward to in the digital Meredith Magazine’s debut in June 2021. “As we continue going strong, we hope you will enjoy this new format and share it with others,” said Allen.
