Meredith Lake Update

You have probably noticed how the Meredith Lake at the amphitheater is empty. In March, the iconic campus lake drained because of the erosion of its pipes. Not only is the beauty lost, but the lake water that was used to irrigate Meredith’s grounds is no longer available. The initial estimates for repairs are up to $500,000, and we have a matching gift lined up for the first half of the money.

Our Meredith alumnae have been busy making gifts to restore this beautiful campus asset. Already, the Lake Fund has reached $68,302 in new gifts! We still have $181,698 to raise to meet our challenge of $250,000.

To support the restoration efforts of the Meredith Lake, please consider making a gift before the end of the fiscal year on June 30.
