Meredith Holds 13th Annual Celebrating Student Achievement Day

Meredith College held the 13th annual Celebrating Student Achievement (CSA) Day on Tuesday, April 14, 2015.

CSA Day, a tradition at Meredith, offers a full slate of research presentations, performances, and award ceremonies that showcase the work of students. This year more than 100 students presented research. Other highlights included performances, an interior design showcase, and the reveal of this year’s Colton Review.

President Jo Allen is one of many at Meredith who say CSA Day is the best day event of the year.

“[On CSA Day] we can see everything our students have learned put into such beautiful presentations, posters, performances, and shows,” Allen said. “It is definitely the most exciting day of the year in my opinion.”

Undergraduate research is a strength of the Meredith academic experience, with 32% of students participating during their college careers.

Provost Matthew Poslusny noted the CSA Day is the result of collaboration and dedication.

“Countless hours of hard work, by the student herself, her collaborators, and her advisors, have gone into the work shown today,” Poslusny said.

Celebrating Student Achievement Day was held during Undergraduate Research Week 2015.
