Meredith Autism Program and Explorer’s Inclusive Preschool – Enrollment Now Open
- Published
The Meredith Autism Program (MAP) will have openings for preschoolers on the autism spectrum to enroll for autism services in Summer 2024 (June – August). To be eligible for consideration for enrollment, children must have a diagnosis of autism and be no older than 4 years, 6 months at the time of enrollment. Interested families must reside within 25 miles of Meredith College. Our mission is to offer value-based care by implementing evidence-based practices for children to reach their fullest potential, while simultaneously providing a learning experience in the field of autism and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for Meredith students. To request autism services, families can complete an application on our website.
The Explorer’s Inclusive Preschool Classroom, a division of MAP, currently has open enrollment for five neurotypical peers, ages 3-5 (without a diagnosis or developmental delay) in order to assist with building social skills, play skills, and language in a small classroom setting. Our classroom operates five mornings per week (Mon-Fri, 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.). The school year runs from September 2024 to May 2025; tuition is $425/month. Meredith faculty and staff can take advantage of an employee discount of 50% off tuition for the 2024-25 school year. Applications can be found on the MAP website. Tours are available by email request: autism@meredith.edu.
