Make It Count for Meredith to be Held February 28

The annual Make It Count for Meredith Giving Day will be held Tuesday, February 28, 2023. The goal for the 24-hour giving challenge is to raise $1 million.

Donors can honor a strong woman or group of women in their life with their gift and can designate their gift to the greatest needs of the College or any area they wish to support.

Gifts on this extraordinary day show students a million reasons why their education is important and how the Meredith community supports strong women. The Meredith Fund is asking alumnae to share the millions of memories made at Meredith by sharing photos on social media using #MakeItCount4MC or tell who they honored and why by posting photos with their giving day signs

“We love seeing all the social media posts, reading stories, and seeing who our donors honor on this special day. Those 24 hours each year truly highlight the distinctive bonds that alumnae and friends of the College have to Meredith,” said Jean Gambrill, director of the Meredith Fund. “It’s a wonderful day of Meredith pride and a commitment to supporting programs and opportunities for all current and future students.”

Last year, the Giving Day goal was $750,000. By midnight a total of 2,660 donors had contributed $1,167,121 in one day, exceeding the goal by more than $400,000.
