Giving Day to be Held February 28

The annual Make It Count for Meredith Giving Day will be held Tuesday, February 28, 2023. The goal for the 24-hour giving challenge is to raise $1 million.

Donors can honor a strong woman or group of women in their life with their gift and can designate their gifts to any area they wish to support.

Alumnae and donors share who they are honoring with a giving day sign, create videos of why they support Meredith, and provide challenges throughout the day to get donors engaged.

“We love seeing all the social media posts, reading stories, and seeing who our donors honor on this special day. Those 24 hours each year truly highlight the distinctive bonds that alumnae and friends of the College have to Meredith,” said Jean Gambrill, director of the Meredith Fund. “It’s a wonderful day of Meredith pride and a commitment to supporting programs and opportunities for all current and future students.”

The Meredith Fund invites you to help spread the word about the Day of Giving. You can share the promo video and use the zoom backgrounds in your meetings for the next week to promote the day.  Inform alumnae and friends and ask them to visit meredith.edu/makeitcount4mc to learn more.

Additionally, the Alumnae Association invites you to celebrate Meredith’s 132nd birthday in the Rotunda from 2:30-3:30 p.m. on February 28. President Jo Allen will give remarks and attendees will enjoy birthday treats and giveaways.

We hope you will follow along on the Make It Count for Meredith website and on Meredith College’s Facebook and Instagram accounts on February 28 to see our $1 million goal reached.
