February 22 is Make It Count for Meredith Giving Day

The seventh annual Giving Day, Make It Count for Meredith, will be held Tuesday, February 22, 2022. The goal for the 24 hour giving challenge is to raise $750,000 to support students.

Each year, we ask donors to make a gift to honor a strong woman in their life. Donors can designate their gift to any fund they are passionate about on campus. All gift amounts can make a difference.

There are several ways that you can be a part of the day.

  • Follow Meredith College on Facebook and Instagram
  • Visit meredith.edu/makeitcount4mc to see the total money raised in real-time.
  • Wear your Meredith apparel, and if you are on social media change your profile picture to show your Meredith pride.
  • Visit the Giving Day site to print out the Giving Day sign and be sure to use #MakeItCount4MC in your posts.
  • Help spread the word by posting the link meredith.edu/makeitcount4mc and encourage people to give.

Last year, the Giving Day goal was $600,000. By midnight a total of 2,698 donors had contributed $771,521 in one day, exceeding the fundraising goal by more than $150,000.
