Alumni Educators and School Administrators Career Event Held

The Department of Education and the Office of Alumnae Relations hosted a brunch on Saturday, August 26 for alumni educators and school administrators.

This was a career-focused event featuring panelists Sheliah Burnette, ’03, Katie Demcio, ’07, Amanda Bunn Miller, ’01, and Dr. Ruth Cochrane Steidinger, ’85. The panel was moderated by Jennifer Olson, head of the Department of Education.

The attendees then participated in table discussions. The table topics included advancing your career, secondary income/financial planning, graduate school, national board certification, and education policy/advocacy.
