Alumnae Invite Prospective Students to Discover Meredith

On October 29, the Alumnae Association and Office of Admissions held the annual Discover Meredith event.

Alumnae are invited to ask a prospective Meredith student to the event. All ages are welcome, but the event is tailored to high school students. The Alumnae Association reaches out to all alumnae via email and social media channels to encourage them to bring their daughters, granddaughters, friends, neighbors, or anyone they know that might like to learn more about Meredith. This year 22 prospective students attended the event.

Discover Meredith, an event hosted by the Alumnae Office and Admissions.“Discover Meredith is a special day for our office. Seeing alumnae share their stories and favorite memories with prospective students brings us so much joy,” said Hannah Kicklighter, assistant director of alumnae relations. “This year, students heard from Dr. Allen and an incredibly impressive panel of current students and recent graduates. We love having the opportunity to welcome future generations of strong students to campus!”

The exclusive open house day for alumnae and their prospective students is held each fall and the day includes a talk by President Allen, a student and alumnae panel, a tour of campus conducted by the Iris Ambassadors, and a luncheon in Belk Dining Hall where they connected with alumnae volunteers.
