Alumnae Association Hosts First Day of Class Event

Meredith College Alumnae Association hosted a candy buffet event for all students on August 24. During the two-hour event, close to 300 students filled goodie bags with their favorite treats to celebrate the first day of classes. 

“You could feel the excitement around campus and seeing students, faculty, and staff in person made us feel lucky to be back for a new year,” said Hannah Kicklighter, ʼ19, assistant director of alumnae relations.

Alumnae Relations staff also attended the Student Organization and Services Fair that evening to share information about two student organizations: 1891 Club, the Student Alumnae Association, and Meredith Mentors, the online networking platform. 

“Having the opportunity to connect with current students and talk about our incredible alumnae community is always special,” said Kicklighter.
