Dr. Yvette Brown, class of 1990, received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Meredith College and her Medical Degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Brown has served on the Meredith College Alumnae Board. Additionally, she has served as the Kresge Foundation Grant Chairperson, Co-Chair of the Campaign for Meredith and a Meredith Leadershape Speaker.
Dr. Brown is a Board Certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist and the Medical Director for Keystone Women’s Care in Pennsylvania. She is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologist, The American Medical Association and the American Association of Physician Leadership. She has held positions as a Board member of the Cumberland Valley Network, Board Chair of the Cumberland Valley Physicians and Chair of the Depart of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Brown is an Associate Professor at The Penn State Hershey Medical College. She participates in the education of nursing students, medical students and Obstetrics and Gynecology residents. She lectures at nursing conferences and provides sexual health education for college students.
Dr. Brown is a recipient of the Meredith Distinguished Alumna award, the Teacher of the Year Award for Penn State Hershey Medical College and the Best of the Best Obstetrician/Gynecologist in South Central Pennsylvania.
