Profile

Dr. Nancy L. Johnson, CPA, is a Certified Financial Education Instructor (CFEI), and an instructor of accounting in the School of Business at Meredith College. During her 20 years as an educator, she has developed online, face to face and hybrid courses for all levels in higher education, established financial acumen workshop series for business leaders and served as a volunteer in K-12 stock market financial acumen development programs.  In the classroom Dr. Johnson leverages real world professional experiences from her more than 20 years in the financial services industry as an analyst, a project manager, and an equity trader, and 20 years as a corporate financial acumen and process improvement consultant.

Dr. Johnson holds a bachelor degree in Accounting and a master of business administration degree from Augsburg University in Minneapolis, MN, a graduate certificate in Accounting from the Keller School of Management, and a doctorate of business administration degree with a concentration in finance from Saint Mary’s University of Minneapolis in MN.

Harry and Marion Eberly Faculty Development Award 2025
In 1991, as part of the FAME Endowment, Harry and Marion Eberly established this award to express a commitment to the ideals of Meredith College and to provide faculty with assistance to develop their expertise. The first award was presented in 1993. The selection of recipients is based on recommendations from faculty, staff, and students.
