Profile

Dr. Campbell arrived at Meredith College in 1992. She was instrumental in the development of the Exercise and Sports Science major, which began in 1998, and she served as K-12 Coordinator of the Health and Physical Education concentration until 2009.  She also formerly served as Nutrition, Health and Human Performance Department Head and Head Coach of the Avenging Angels Tennis and Basketball teams.

In 2021, Dr. Campbell stepped up as Interim Dean for the School of Education, Health and Human Sciences. This position is in addition to her continuing role as a Professor of Exercise and Sports Science for NHHP, where she focuses on courses related to teaching methods, history and foundations, career development, and management.
