Bio:Kai Kaapro is the CEO and Co-Founder of TourScale, a tours & activities company and franchisor based in Raleigh, North Carolina which operates Trolley Pub, Tiki Pub and Paddle Pub. He is also the managing partner of TourCraft, a boat and vehicle manufacturing company based in Alachua, Florida.
Kai’s businesses span 38 cities in 13 states and employ over 100 people – from tour guides to welders to captains to mechanics. He is an acknowledged market and thought leader in the party vehicle and boat tour industry nationwide and is considered an expert on vehicle and vessel based tour operations, management, marketing and strategy. He has served as the keynote speaker for the Arival conference, a featured speaker for Boats and Watersports conference and has been a guest on numerous tour-related podcasts for his insight.
Kai graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona and a law degree from Penn State.
Kai lives in Raleigh, NC with his wife, Brittany, and his two young sons August and Berkeley.
