Profile

Gaye Hill is content strategy manager at Meredith College. An award-winning marketing writer and content strategist, she develops high-level content for media formats from print to video. During her tenure at Meredith, Hill has guided message development for the highly successful Going Strong brand, which has had a positive impact on recruitment, fundraising, and overall perception of the College. A member of the Marketing Leadership Team, Hill has held numerous additional roles at Meredith including serving on various college-wide committees, supporting the development and communication of the strategic plan, and teaching a freshman seminar course.

Previously, Hill held communication and development roles at statewide and national nonprofits. Those positions involved recruiting, training, and directing volunteers, co-leading international learning trips, and helping to plan regional and national conferences. She has also taught writing at the community college level.

Hill graduated Phi Beta Kappa, magna cum laude with a B.A. in religion and an M.A. in English from Florida State University, and earned a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Duke Continuing Studies. She has served on the Board for the College News Association of the Carolinas (CNAC) and enjoys presenting at professional conferences.
