I am a tenacious leader that manages 4 brands under the C and D Events INC umbrella that I co-lead with my business partner for 15 plus years. I help plan, design, and execute hundreds of events per year. I specialize in business growth, team building and mentoring other industry professionals.
I am very thankful for the opportunity to work with and teach Meredith College students in the newly created Hospitality and Tourism Management program. Over the years of owning and operating several hospitality businesses in the Triangle area I have grown to love the industry and have found a passion in coaching other businesses toward success. As a former public school teacher for 10 years, I am thrilled to be able to take my passion and skills for business growth into the classroom, at my fabulous alma mater no less!
My partner and I continue to navigate this ever-changing industry and have grown to appreciate all of the ebbs and flows and the constant evolution that is required to stay relevant. Change and evolution is a given and being able to be on the front line of innovative ideas and fresh enthusiasm is exhilarating. I look forward to being a guiding force and hold space for fresh thinking within Meredith’s academic community as Adjunct Instructor.
