Beth Meier

Profile

Beth Meier has worked in the Counseling Center since 1993. She has served as the Director since 1995. Prior to working at Meredith she worked in the Counseling Centers at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale and Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond Virginia. She also worked for the Charter Hospital in Raleigh. Beth enjoys working with adults with anxiety, depression, transition, self-esteem and relationship issues. She has also experience and expertise working with clients who have experienced trauma. Her training and approach incorporates Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy. Beth has been a LeaderShape facilitator and is invested in helping women find their passions and pursuing their goals.
