In addition to her service as a trustee, Ann Lowery has previously served as co-chair for Beyond Strong | The Campaign for Meredith, on the Alumnae Legacy campaign, and on the Meredith Fund Board.
In 2014, Lowery received the Alumnae Reunion Philanthropy Award. Lowery has expertise in fund-raising, alumni affairs, public relations, publications, special events, and admissions, having previously worked in these capacities at NC State University, William Peace University, Saint Mary’s School, Ravenscroft School and the Easter Seal Society of North Carolina. Prior to her recent retirement, she was Vice President of Finance for Aegis Administrative Services, Inc. She has been a sustainer of the Junior League of Raleigh, volunteered for the American Cancer Society and National Charity League, and served on the Stewardship Committee at Hayes Barton Baptist Church.
Lowery received her degree in 1974 from Meredith College, majoring in French and has done graduate work at NC State University in Public Policy.
