The Meredith Philharmonic opens the 2022-2023 season with Symphony No. 39 by Haydn and music from The Lord of the Rings.
Event will be held at Meredith College in the Carswell Concert Hall located in the Wainwright Music Building.
The orchestra will perform works by Piazolla, Villa-Lobos, Copland and present a North Carolina premiere. Meredith College dance major Cynthia Sanchez '25 will dance original dances to the music. The concert is free for the Meredith Community with ID.
