The Johnson Hall Rotunda is a welcoming sight to all who love Meredith College. Alumnae may recall their first time stepping through the doors or may think of all the women who went before them. In 2016, a massive renovation was completed giving Johnson Hall the new Jo Ellen Ammons Welcome Center, restoring historic elements of the building, adding a new copper dome, and moving the staircase to create a view through the front entrance into the courtyard allowing more room for entertaining guests and welcoming alumnae home.
