The Meredith College Dietetic Internship is participating in the ISPP established by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics through the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND). For more information on an ISPP, go to www.eatright.org and click on the ISPP link. 

Meredith College ISPP accepts applications from potential students who have a valid DPD Verification Form.  Meredith College has been approved to accept 8 ISPP Students each year.  A new ISPP Cohort will start in July/August of each year. Each student will be responsible for identifying and setting up his or her own sites >150 miles outside of Raleigh, N.C. Please use this Guidebook when finding student-identified sites/preceptors.

Please note:  It may be very difficult to find clinical site preceptors in your state.  Plan ahead and make connections as soon as you can.  You may need to consider relocation for some rotations.  Please call the DI Director if you have questions.

The Meredith College ISPP will accept applications via the DICAS System.

Applications will be accepted through DICAS – North Carolina – Meredith College – Individualized Supervised Practice Pathway.

ISPP Application portal opening date is April 10, 2024, 11am CT. 

A non-refundable application fee of $60, (After submitting your  application in DICAS, Meredith College will prompt you via email to pay your application fee online.)

Candidates will be accepted until the ISPP is full.
