You can transfer to Meredith at any point in your education. Whether you are transferring from a four-year college or university, a community college or a two-year college, we will complete a personal transfer credit evaluation to ensure you receive the maximum credit hours when you transfer.

Many of the general education designated courses offered at Meredith have equivalents at NC-CCs. Successful completion of individual courses on this list will fulfill the associated Meredith general education requirement.

Students transferring from North Carolina Community Colleges can view a list of transferrable community college courses and Meredith course equivalencies. Please note, these equivalencies are samples. Official articulation of credit occurs during the application and admission process.

Meredith has articulation agreements with the North Carolina Community College System which makes completing a four-year degree at Meredith more attainable for transfer students. Students who complete the Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree at a North Carolina Community College enter Meredith College as juniors.

Students transferring from a North Carolina Community College with an anticipated major are encouraged to review the associated Pathway Plan. Following the Pathway Plan is not required, but may help maximize transferable credit toward the intended major upon entry to Meredith College. Note: While Pathway Plans are not yet available for all majors, Transfer students are eligible to declare any major offered at the College.
