Welcome, parents and families, and thanks for your support. We invite you to explore the resources below as your student prepares for an experience abroad.
Should you or your student have financial questions regarding study abroad, the funding study abroad workshops, held throughout the year by our office, will be a good resource. Parents and families are welcome to attend as well!
We understand that study abroad is an investment - academically, personally, professionally, and financially. Our goal is to develop and promote programs that are academically rigorous, highly supportive, and financially accessible for all Meredith students. We work diligently to keep program costs as low as possible and maintain strong partnerships with the Meredith Office of Financial Assistance. If you have any questions, please contact the Office of Financial Assistance at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thanks to generous donors and alumnae, we are fortunate to offer Meredith study abroad scholarships each term for both semester and summer programs. We are also glad to provide application support to students who seek outside study abroad scholarships. See the "Costs and Funding" tab for more information.
Pre-Departure Handbook & Study Abroad Orientation
Studying abroad will likely be one of the most exciting adventures of your student’s life! Prior to departure, you will begin to wonder what she should pack, what health precautions she should take, and how you can best support her living and studying in another country. This handbook, the general study abroad orientation online modules and program-specific meetings will help answer most of those questions.
Meredith Office of International Programs Pre-departure Handbook—Your student will be required to read this document before orientation.
