Changes to Quarantine/Isolation for Fall 2022

The College has reviewed the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) updated recommendations for isolation and quarantine and in balancing what we know about the spread of the virus, the protection provided by vaccination and booster doses, and the risk associated with being part of a residential college campus, updated some of our COVID guidance.

Both quarantine and isolation requirements are overseen by Human Resources in concert with local and state health agencies and are individualized and based on our current campus environment. These guidelines are subject to change based on local and campus conditions. Employees should not end or change their COVID positive isolation without being directed to do so by Human Resources.

As a reminder, if you test positive for COVID, please contact the Office of Human Resources immediately (hr@meredith.edu, #8898).  Do not share medically related information with your supervisor.

COVID-19 Vaccine Requirement

Meredith College now requires all students and employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19. As of January 2022, Meredith College is not requiring boosters, but strongly recommends boosters for eligible individuals. Learn more about Meredith’s vaccination requirement
