Meredith’s Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Chapter is one of the leading student chapters in the country. We have earned the designation of “Top Ten Student Chapters” by National SHRM eight times. Our chapter earns the Superior Merit Award each year by providing our students with excellent programs, community projects, career development, and professional networking. We are pleased to offer our students opportunities to attend regional student conferences, participate in case competitions, and embrace leadership responsibilities.
The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) is the world’s largest association devoted to human resource management. Representing more than 190,000 individual members, the Society’s mission is to serve the needs of HR professionals by providing the most essential and comprehensive resources available. As an influential voice, the Society’s mission is also to advance the human resource profession to ensure that HR is recognized as an essential partner in developing and executing organizational strategy.
