Registration Information


COURSE MODALITY: Terminology and Definitions For Use During the 2020-2021 Academic Year

Face to Face - This is the traditional classroom setting.  On the schedule under Meeting Information it will show the class days, times, building and room.

Hybrid - This is a mix of face to face and online instruction.  On the schedule under Meeting Information it will say Hybrid (online and classroom) with the class days, times, building and room, and under Comments it will say 'This is a Hybrid class'.

Online Synchronous - This is an online class that has real-time course meetings.  On the schedule under Meeting Information it will say Online Learning with the class days and times, and under Comments it will say 'This is a Synchronous Online class'.

Online Hybrid - This is an online class that has a mix of real-time course meetings and true remote learning.  On the schedule under Meeting Information it will say Online Learning with the class days and times, and under Comments it will say 'This is a Hybrid Online class'.

Online Asynchronous - This is a true online class with no real-time meetings.  On the schedule under Meeting Information it will say Online Learning with no days or times, and under Comments it will say 'This is an Asynchronous Online class'.

Key Registration Dates for Summer 2020

Monday, March 2, 2020 – Online pre-registration will open In WebAdvisor and Self-Service

Wednesday, April 15, 2020 -  Pre-registered students may view their account online in Self-Service.

Friday, May 1, 2020 – Payment for tuition and fees for summer classes beginning prior to June 22, 2020 is due in full.  There are no payment plans for summer.  Students who are not cleared by Accounting or Financial Assistance are subject to registration cancellation.  Students who have not registered for summer classes beginning prior to June 22, 2020 will need to present a paid tuition receipt or a registration clearance card in the Office of the Registrar, 1st floor Johnson Hall, for assistance with registration (Note: Adding and dropping of courses on WebAdvisor/Self-Service will continue for those student who have already pre-registered).

Fall 2020

Key Registration Dates for Fall 2020

Thursday, April 2, 2020* – Online pre-registration will open In WebAdvisor and Self-Service.  Click on the Registration and Withdrawal Deadlines link to the left for pre-registration days/times. *New date due to extended Spring Break.

Monday, July 6, 2020 -  Pre-registered students may view their account online in Self-Service.

Saturday, August 1, 2020 – Payment for tuition is due.  Students who are not cleared by Accounting or Financial Assistance are subject to registration cancellation. 

Monday, August 3, 2020 – Online pre-registration will close on WebAdvisor. Students who have not registered for any Fall classes by August 3, will need to make payment arrangements through the Accounting Office and then register for classes using the virtual registration clearance card located on the Registrar Office website.  Proof of payment (a notification from the Accounting Office) is required to register.  (Note: Adding and dropping of courses on WebAdvisor will continue for those students who have already pre-registered.)

Friday, August 21, 2020 - Last day to add or drop a class (no grade) in WebAdvisor or Self-Service.  Requests to make changes in registration made after this date require an appeal to the Dean or Provost, or approval from an advisor to drop a class with a grade of "W".
