How to Apply
If you are a high school student who is interested in applying to the nursing program, your first step is to apply to Meredith.
Incoming first-year students and currently enrolled Meredith students can apply to the nursing program during the Spring semester through a secondary application process.
Nursing Application Requirements
Meredith College Nursing Program uses a holistic admission process that includes the following:
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 at the end of the semester in which they apply
- Minimum required grades or score equivalency on AP testing (see Meredith Credit Opportunities for High School Advanced Placement Courses) in prerequisite courses taken*
- Applicants are strongly encouraged to complete or be actively enrolled in the following courses at the time of their application: MAT 175, CHE 111/141, BIO 112/142, BIO 338/348. Both the number of completed prerequisite courses and the applicant’s performance in prerequisite courses are considered.
- Personal statements
- Two letters of recommendation
- Ability to meet Technical Standards
*Required Prerequisite Grades
- Minimum grades of B in BIO 338/348, BIO 339/349, BIO 224/244
AND
- Minimum grades of C in PSY 100, FN 227, HED 200,
