Weather Alert: Meredith to Operate Remotely on Monday, Feb. 2, and On Delay on Tuesday, Feb. 3
- Published

As a reminder, on Monday, February 2, campus offices are operating remotely and classes will be held remotely.
According to the National Weather Service, wintry weather in the Raleigh area is expected to have lingering impacts on roads on Tuesday morning, February 3, 2026. To allow for melting and clearing for those traveling to campus, Meredith will operate on a delay. Administrative offices will open at 11 a.m., and on-campus classes will begin at 11 a.m.
Students should check their email and Brightspace for messages from faculty about asynchronous classes for 8 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. classes.
As always, you should make your decisions regarding traveling to campus based on your safety in light of conditions in your area.
Campus Conditions: Grounds crews have worked over the weekend to clear accumulation on campus roadways and walkways. However, some surfaces may remain slick, particularly in shady spots. Use caution when moving around campus.
Dining Hours: On Tuesday, breakfast will be served in the Dining Hall, and the Dining Hall will open at 11 a.m. for a full lunch menu. For updates, check the Belk Dining Hall Instagram feed: https://www.instagram.com/meredith_dining/
